Evergreen
forest, for example: Brazil, Democratic republic of Congo, Western Ghats,
become green desert after their exploitation and they may or may not be
converted to monoculture plantations based on the human interventions.
The
reason is we know the rainfall of more than 200cm in evergreen forest, due to
this there is an intense leaching and there is loss of humus
It
leads to the accumulation of aluminium and manganese nodules in the soil. So
the soil is highly infertile. Green deserts: After exploitation we can’t rejuvenate
the sane forest again or loss of biodiversity occurs.
